It is the Sport of the Arts. Indoor guard is a very competitive version of fall guard.
How
much does it cost?: We
do not receive funding for our winter guard program and are
completely self-sustaining. The cost of participation depends
entirely on the number of participants we have. Our operating costs
for an extremely basic 2014 program is $2,425. We are not charging
for uniforms or equipment use. However, if a student loses, breaks or
destroys a piece of equipment, that student will be responsible for
an appropriate repair or replacement.
What
is the time commitment?
November
is odd as we're getting things going and focusing on providing a
solid training. Plan on rehearsals being Wednesdays from 3:00-5:30 in
the cafeteria at SFHS and from 6:00-8:30 in the D gym at SFHS. Our
times were determined in an attempt to accommodate as many scout, YW,
4H and family plans as well as when we could get use of the
appropriate facilities. The rehearsal and competition schedule will
be posted on our blog (sfwinterguard.blogspot.com) and on our brand
new SFHS facebook page (SFHS Color Guard).

If

can I talk to?
Clint
Roberts (clint.roberts@nebo.edu)
is the guy I get to report to. If you don't like something I've done,
choice I've made or color of my socks, you can talk to him. I do ask
that you email or call me first so we can try to understand each
other before bothering him.
